Welcome! My name is Tamue Clarke. I am a cis gender woman. Many Moods Counselling began from my personal journey throughout careers and transitions. My credentials include a Bachelors of Education in Early Childhood Education, Post Graduate Education in Special Needs, and Master of Art in Counselling Psychology. With over ten years in the field of education, and being a woman and an immigrant, I am eager to engage with people from a wide array of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, with specific focus on serving those under the BIPOC - (Black, indigenous, and people of colour) segment.
If you are struggling with self-confidence, anxiety, self-worth, depression, trauma, trauma stress-related disorders, self-identity, or life transitions, there is hope.
I believe that your complexities should be taken into consideration during therapy. A great way to do this is to have a therapist that reflects your unique identity and can relate to the factors that have impacted your mental health. I work to empower clients to achieve their goals.
I work from a client-centered, strength-based approach with modalities that include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), evidence-based interventions, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy.
